RNS510 C advice!

Dear All,
i want to do upgrade from RNS300 to RNS510, however my car is of 2007 and has this Canbus 3c0 907 530 c
i understand i can't run RNS510 C with this Canbus unless i have a special firemware,
can someone please advise wether is possible to run the C version on this Canbus otherwise which fireware i need to use,

Your can gateway can be updated, no need for replacing it and should cost less, since it's quicker than pulling it out.

i forgot to mention i am European user, howver replacing the gateway its not really cheap, its about 250€
so i was wondering using the FW!
