Before gav gives you the third degree...

Are these for RHD or LHD vehicles?

    Does it have auto levelling?

Does it need washers to be compliant?

Does it work with halogen headlight Golf 6s?

How much would it cost to install this?

      Hi mate,
      They are RHD with AFS
Auto Levelling is possible with these
No need for washers in QLD, not sure about other states.
It can be installed on Halogen HL with a bit of magic.
You are looking at $600-$800 depending on the location to install and code them.

According to RACQ they do indeed need washers: Headlights | Motoring | RACQ

Relatively easy to install it on a Golf, bumper has cut outs for these and the kit for HL washers is not extremely expenisve

I was referring to your comment "No need for washers in QLD".

They look great but I'd love to know total cost once you include auto levelling and washers...? i.e. so it complies with ADR which seems to apply to all states.

my bad mate, the washers are relatively easy to do but will quite obviously cost extra as well as the auto levelling.

I wonder if the D5S (as seen in the New Beetle) bulbs would fit; they are under 2000 lumens so are (I believe) exempt from the washers and levelling requirements.

I dont think so but this would obviously need to be checked.
The good option is to do the upgrade in stages - 1. HL, 2. A-L and 3. Washers.
This will reduce the work load and the coin load level obviously and most probably the 2+3 can be DIY in a day as on a Golf all is ready for it.

                              Hey Liquidforce,

What coding did you use? When I installed mine all the coding that I tried didn't work. Only way I can get the DRL to work is to turn on the parkers... Any ideas?
