  • RCD510 - iPhone 4 - Bluetooth streaming issues

    Hi all

Just picked up a 2009 Passat R36 recently (white mfd) and I'm having no luck in getting Bluetooth streaming to work at all.

The iPhone 4 pairs and works with the RCD510 for phone calls fine, but no audio streaming functions appear to be available.

I _think_ I have the 9w2 unit as there is no phone book functionality and the Bluetooth ID is VW VHU. This unit should support A2DP ...

I've tried all the things mentioned on this forum and more.

My VW dealer wanted to see pics of the RCD510 to confirm the specific model/series/type and confirmed that "resetting" had worked in the past to fix this issue. So I'll be taking it into the dealer to see what they can do.

Any specific additional instructions I should give them re vcds settings or otherwise to get this to work?

Any other suggestions for things to enable via vcds coding while I'm there?

    Cheers

    E

Cannot remember off hand but there is a bit in one of the 3 bytes (assuming it is 9w2 unit) that must be activated for audio streaming to work any chance you can post a scan of module 77 which should display the current code settings. The coding for my old Tiguan was 412220

      Great stuff - thanks.

I don't have any of the gear for scanning, but will pass this on to the VW service centre.
