Oem parking sensors - not working

Hey everyone,

I am after some help. I pared my car at the airport, came back after a couple of days and now my retro fit parking sensors are not working.

When putting the car reserves, I get a long beep, longer then normal. No picture on the screen and sometimes I get a message " the optical parking is not working at the moment " or something like that.

Does any body have any idea what could be wrong...

hey mate, get someone to check your can connection or all the wires around or get a VCDS read out, perhaps a faulty sensor which does happen at times

when it does that it means there's a fault somewhere in the system, I would say one of the sensors is faulty which causes the whole system to shut down.
