CAN Bus converter/Adapter

Hi guys,
Has anyone used a canbus adapter to get an acc feed for an aftermarket headunit?
There are a few brands around and I want to know if there is a better/worse option and what is cheap/expensive pricing.

For an Mk5 or Mk6?
I used connects2, when I got the right part it worked fine, plus gave me basic steering wheel controls too
