Very Specific Questions - RCD510 with Bluetooth Module on Mk6 GTI Golf

I've tried an 7P6 035 730 E revision unit, it has the same problem with non A RCD510. The cure was RCD510 A rev.

What version of RCD510 do you have running there? Can you paste the part number? Mega curious.

OK. Just hooked up VCDS and dragged out all the info. So I've got an RCD510 "A" unit hooked up to a 7P6 035 730 "F" bluetooth unit.

So it looks like the RCD510 "A" is probably the way to go.

Thanks for this! This was what I suspected. With the "A" unit you could have gone for a K revision BT unit which has less strange issues with A2DP, Bluetooth pairing and general support for phone profiles.

I have a European 2010 GOLF MK6 with a RCD510 A revision. i bought the 9w7 rev K from spain... I have everything working (including voice control). But But but but :
- Bluetooth audio is only working on left Speakers (front and back) and good quality
- i can barely hear people talking to me on the speakers. They can hear me perfectly.. When engine turned off i can hear them a bit as well only fomr the left speaker...

Volkswage locally dont want to help me out as they said it is not a genuine product.
i played a lot with VCDS and found a "base phone volume" parameters i tried to change but no help.
When the phone rings, it sounds like i can hear it like an half second then it seems to go in mute mode or a like an dthen i cant hear people talking...
Ny idea to help me out?
