Someone feel free to correct me, but I believe the Gateway, the Central Electrics, and Convenience modules are all one unit on the MK6.

the CAN Gateway is still an individual part. For what reason do you want to get to it?

It will either be directly above the clutch pedal (if you have one) look all the way to the top. You are looking for a red plug.
Otherwise, if you pull your money box to the right of the steering wheel out, it should be just behind/above the fuse panel.
