Hi all im new here (sorry for my english) i need help with my rns 510 i have version 1T0 035 680 A i have succesfull install software 5238 by josi and then i will try to install map from sd card, by map tool when the system start initialise software i dont know what happend but my rns stop working, after that i can install any software all instalations stops on APPL or stop on hdd anyone can help me?

As far as i know , the RNS 510 uses a CD to install the Maps

Hi i recently purchase a rns510 for my mk6 golf gti and noticed it had the highline background colours, i was wondering if anyone is able to help me change it to the sportsline background, thanks in advance

Hi Anyone,

I have a 2009 Tiguan and my 510 wont boot up and keeps going from blank screen to "splash page" without starting. Is there anyone this forum recommends in Melbourne currently I can take it to to remedy this? I am not sure if "Buckets" is still on this forum site as he hasnt posted since 2017.

Just require good paid advice and help.

I see that this thread is quote old and the recommended contact details are a bit out of date, so I am wondering if anyone can point me to someone in Brisbane that can help with fixing an RNS510 that will not boot up. I have done all that I can and verified that the screen itself is not dead, however, the unit will not come on after displaying the VW logo on start up.

Any help is appreciated.

Eurocar Upgrades do that sort of stuff but are at Maroochydore and going rate is north of $150 an hour
There are no more maps for it and are already about 4 years out of date so better to buy a 330 or similar or a Discover media

I have a 2013 VW Passat. One day, the language on the RNS 510 turned to German and the sound is gone. The system looks fine, but there is no sound from the speakers. When I try to change the language back to English, the system gets stuck. I also tried the basic things like reset and battery release but didnt work. Please advise.

Read the first post in your other thread its all in there. 5238 is latest isnt it as havent had one for a few years
