    Anyone in Sydney (Western Suburb) Can help with RNS510 coding?

    brought a RNS 510 H for my wife's car. searched internet and find a local guy can do fitting for $100. since i don't have a VCDS cable so i thought just give away the money and it done. the guy had a different software. he fitted in and start to program. straight away on his software it shows can bus data interface error and also error on navigation and radio. he tried to figure it out but can't clear it after 30 minutes. then he start to pack up. i asked him is that all done. he said yes. then i asked why there is error. he then start to BS this is normal blablabla....... he ask me to try. most of the thing works but navigation doesn't show on MFD. i finally have to ask him to reverse back what he did and refuse to pay.

    anyway, sorry for the long story. i am going to install the unit myself(did on my tiguan with a cable from a friend is not available for couple of month) and just wondering if anyone around western suburb of sydney will have a VCDS cable or help with coding it properly. or i am happy to pay you to install and code it.

      I have a spare cable now, after managing to repair one..pm if interested. Could also perhaps assist but I would be guessing at some stuff.

          brought from a website called audi upgrades. nice oz guy named Martin serviced me. he's in townville and the price is $1299 express shipped to sydney for the H version.

            Hi anyone in perth who can help me out with my purchase of rns 510 ? version c

            my golf is a 2007 my08 , i know i may have to recode the system ect... but im totaly lost with it , i installed it tonight but no sound , volume controlls work on the steering wheel , but i know the drain battery issue is there as it wont turn off .

            So if anyone has the time to help me out or send me to a place where they can do this fitment that would be great .....
