The one I linked 2 posts above is the best Ive found so far. It is also ccd and has a color display at night. Resolution and pic is very clear and more than enough for the 8" screen. It does have a set of distance lines but they match the ones in the ANS 810.
Ive also been fitting these and they are an easier fit as they just swap out for a number plate light. CCD Reverse Camera FOR VW Beetle Passat Golf Polo Jetta Phaeton Skoda Superb | eBay $18
Pic is preety good as well.

Most Chinese RVCs these days use Sony CCD, there's not that much difference in picture quality between them unless you got yourself a CMOS one.
That Golf / Polo one is similar to the one that Audiosources used to offer (they use a different one with clear lens like the original licence plate light now). You'd always have to be careful to check your own licence plate light though, there are many sellers out there that just quote a bunch of cars for fitment and they may not always be accurate. Also some allow use of OEM bulb while others forces a switch to LED. And remember Tiguan / Touareg / T5 etc will have different licence plate light shapes.
Hi. I updated firmware my ANS810 the wrong firmware the version V. Now the device doesn't turn on. Help as it is possible to restore the device!
Sorry mate by doing that you probably bricked your device. Try starting it with the (correct) firmware SD card in the GPS slot and wait for 10 minutes, even if you don't see anything on the screen. After that, remove the SD card and try starting the unit - if that doesn't work the only thing you can do is send it back for repairs.
Any update on the ODB function yet? I alreeady have an ELM 327 bluetooth module in the car and works fine with an android device and Torque Pro, but would be great if this worked with the ANS810... DKN, have you heard from Audiosources at all in regard to this? I would hope they allow us to use our existing module instead of spending out more money?

The latest word is that they had a test version up some time ago, but the communication proved too taxing on the limited hardware. I know it will be fine for the new DNS series when they get it working, but I'm not sure if they will try again with the ANS unit.
the original VW Systems had an altimeter, and wheel angle position .... any way of getting those on the after market units?
There's an altimeter in the GPS software and as for wheel angle position.. the RVC function on the ANS / DNS series senses steering wheel angle, it's probably simple enough to make the actual angle show in numbers on screen but I don't really see much point in that..
hi i would love to buy the ANS-510 but i live in canada if i buy it from audiosource where can i find north america maps? and is there a link on how to install it? thanks
