  • Does anyone make steering wheel control adapters for aftermarket head units?

    Hey Guys,
Been looking at the Pioneer AVIC F930BT head unit but I'm unsure if it will work with my steering wheel controls on the Tiguan? Does Kufatec or anyone else make any kind of adapter so you retain the use of the steering wheel controls with aftermarket head units? Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

There are a couple companies that do aftermarket steering wheel interfaces.
A company called Advanced Ice makes an interface that will work with your vehicle and headunit - Linky

If you decide to buy an Alpine unit, they make all their own interfaces which I have found to work fantastic (I use one in my GTI) and even retains the phone button unlike some of generic interfaces.

Connects2 do them as well, and can do the fascia kits as well (I know, I used to have one in my GTi). I did have some teething problems with mine, but after that was all good.
Best place to order these from is from InCarTec.co.uk
Oh, and check out the Alpine IVA-W520EBT as well. Note the BT provided doesn't have streaming audio, but at that price...
