  • Passat cd stuck in-dash 6 CD changer

I have a CD stuck - any clues on how to get it out?

The CD's gone - your going to have to scratch the buggery out of it to get it out. Try and use some thin tweasers if you can see it... Otherwise, you now have a 5 disc staker I'm afraid.

Press and HOLD down the Eject button.

That should hopefully eject any CD's that are currently loaded one at a time.

I think you might have to do some minor surgery to get it out if that doesn't work.

      Good luck

Is it still stuck? where are you? i have to fix one of these once before.

I had to pull the stacker out and remove the CD and repair the stacker.

I'm in Adelaide but unfortunately I hit the road for Sydney tomorrow (Tuesday) to visit the grand-children. Looks like I'll have to leave it until I return home.

Well, we survived the trip to Sydney and back with the same CD in slot 2, but I would love to know how to get the unit out of the dash without damaging either the dash or the CD-changer - not so fussed about the CD itself it so that I can have a go at fixing it (or at least getting the CD out).

Can anyone help with a 'how-to'?
