  • Bluetooth options for a 2009 Tiggy?

I just bought my wife a new (second-hand) Tiguan. 2009, White 2.0 TDI manual with black leather and tinted windows. Very nice, she's absolutely stoked with it.

I'm wondering what the best options for bluetooth would be - I've put a Fiscon in my MkV Golf and am not overly impressed with it, although it's one saving grace is that it uses the phone button on the wheel to answer and hang up.

Obviously the VW factory bluetooth is another option, but likely to be expensive.

I don't know the model number of the headunit - it's got a B&W screen that integrates with the front and rear park sensors and has a CD slot (helpful, I know)

Are there any other good options for bluetooth for the Tiggy? Ideally I would like it to integrate with the phone button on the wheel and use either the headunit or the MFA to display call information.

The same BT in Tiguan as in other VAG cars of the same age.

I wasn't sure, that's why I asked. I've got a 2009 Tiguan and a 2009 Golf and their headunits, whilst each are the base model, or close to it, are completely different, so I don't know how specific to a vehicle type the bluetooth has to be...

Thanks anyway for putting the thread in the right place.
