  • MDI, RCD 310 doesn't show all Folders from iPhone

    Hi all,

Had my new Golf for 5 days so far and login' it heaps, I am however having problems getting all expected Folders to display on the RCD310 stereo when I plug my iPhone in via the MDI.

The RCD310 user guide says I should see the Folders: PLAYLISTS, ARTISTS, ALBUMS but all I can get is SONGS.

When I select "UP" or "TOP" I just get the SONGS folder which seems to be all of the songs from my iPhone in alphabetical order.

Is anyone able to provide a solution?

    Many thanks

A bit late perhaps, but I picked up my Golf today, and noticed during the demo by the sales guy that he was able to cycle between the folders by turning the right hand knob. Initially it comes up as "SONGS", but you can get "ARTISTS", "ALBUMS" and "PLAYLISTS" by turning that knob, then pressing it to select. Then you can cycle through the subfolders the same way.

This was using a 6th gen iPod Nano.

        Cheers rossw

Can confirm that this indeed works. Even using the 2nd Gen iPod Mini.

Now, if only there was a way to navigate the right knob functions using the steering wheel controls
