Hey guys,
So I am looking at purchasing a used Columbus Sat nav from the uk for my 2008 Skoda Octavia Elegance TDI.
The unit has part number : 3T0 035 680 A. Which I believe is for the newer models. Has any one had experience installing these in the same model as mine, so that it is fully integrated into the MFD on the dashboard? Or is this model plainly not compatible with this version of the octavia.
I just dont want to fork out over $3k for a skoda dealer to install it all. I believe the one I want to order comes with canbus, but do i also need to buy a facia kit? my current audio system is the 'Audience' one.
