  • Satnav install in Adelaide

I'm thinking of buying a RNS 510 from a UK-based eBay merchant for a new Golf. The seller says it is an easy plug and play but I'm all thumbs. Can anyone recommend an installer in Adelaide? At more than a grand for the unit, I don't want to mess up...

It's very simple. Just purchase these tools:
Car Panel Removing Tools - Jaycar Electronics

      Then follow this guide:
HOW TO: Retrofit an RNS510 Sat Nav System.

You shouldn't need the coding unless your steering wheel controls or MFD display doesn't work.

I found the cheapest tool to remove the old unit is an old credit card ,it removes the trim very easy.

Actually, I was hoping to handle the entire job using a credit card. I just need to find an installer who accepts VISA. :p

I could do it but I accept direct deposit or cash only. What suburb do you live in?

Great. I'm in Gilberton but I could bring the car to my work in the city if easier.

OK, I've ordered the unit and I'm liaising with Transporter on the install. Thanks everyone!
