MDI cable for RCD510

Hi folks..I will be buying RCD510 off ebay but the seller doesnt sell MDI cable. I know there are plenty from hongkong and UK on ebay but is there place in Melbourne where I can just go and buy one to avoid the wait? Do dealers sell them?

Do you mean just the cable that connects from the glovebox/centre console or the entire MDI retrofit? I have a spare usb cable since i had to buy an ipod one. For a full retrofit i would just buy it online as i think dealer would be expensive.

Sorry I don't know about MDI retrofit. I am buying RCD510 off ebay. And I thought it has a slot at back for cable and I just need to buy a cable of which one end goes to RCD510 and other to glovebox? I will be using with ipod nano..

Do you already have factory fit MDI in your current car? If not you might need to do a full retrofit.

RCD510 and MDI are two separate issues. You will have to also get the MDI installed regardless of what radio you have.
