Rcd510 and mdi help

So I was listening to my iPod connected via the mdi, it's been working fine since I got the car for a few weeks. Then all of a sudden it starts scanning songs and does this forever. I can't select an album or song and it won't play anything. I haven't tried the radio but I need to know how I can reboot the unit. I pulled the mdi cable out and it's jammed my iPod. I'll try to connect my iPod to my pc later to see if I can restart it.
Really annoying
