I installed my RNS510 last night into my MY08 R32 and it does not appear to be "powering down"
Even after 1hr I can still hear a hiss in the speakers and the unit will turn on by pushing the "on" button...
Could this be the dreaded "battery" issue requiring a gateway upgrade or is this a coding issue..
The car started okay this morning.. lets see if it does when I leave work tonight
Anyone in Melbourne with VAGCOM who would be willing to help a brother code the canbus so my buttons work
