MDI not charging 5V iPod?

I have a dealer fitted MDI (5N0 035 342 C) with the iPod Cable (000 051 446 C). I have attached a 30GB Video iPod (5G, v1.3). All functionality seems to be fine except for charging; it doesn't charge at all. This is a USB 5V iPod, not the older 12V model, so it should charge.

I've checked the MDI firmware and it's version 0111.

I've also attached an iPhone 4 and it doesn't charge either.

Anybody else had this problem?

Fixed. I opened the dashboard and the extension cable that runs from the MDI box into the glovebox (000 051 447) wasn't properly seated. I must have dislodged it when fitting the bluetooth unit. Pushed it back in tight and the iPod started charging.
