Aussie just moved to France and Purchased a 2010 Tiguan with a RNS510 with the Bluetooth premium option (inbuit nokia phone, version)[ white MFD
As I needed to run an iPhone with Skype (To avoid the ORANGE 1.50 euro/min) to call Aus and others, I have downgraded the module to the latest 9W7 (UHV/RSAP AD2P / 5K0035730) from Bluewagen in Spain.
Run the iPhone with Skype for Long Distance therefore need smart phone (not through VW Nokia unit) but in europe use as normal BT/3G phone.
Will Plug VW GSM/3G aerial into Bury system 9 active cradle for iPhone(Antenna and power, no BT) to power and improve signal) (not as good as VW BT prem but will have to do)
The new unit works fine with phone books etc pairing, dialing, voice control etc, interestingly with a USA female voice.
The Issue :- my RNS510 is now a little confused with voice navigation control .
When I push the voice button on the steering wheel the system defaults to the phone , and I cannot use Nav voice commands even when in Nav mode/ screen, When a phone is paired.
It keeps requesting phone commands
Install Just plugged in the original harness that went into the "premium/ nokia" module.
DO I need to use the new harness supplied ?
Do Ineed to update te VAG-COM and with what code ?.
