which is the best ebay seller for the RNS510 can someone help out as i dont want to get ripped off and has anyone had any problems with the ones on ebay.

The one I bought from Lithuania seems to be ok. The only problem I've had is a small issue with the unit getting hot & the fan speed running so high I can hear it.

Others in this forum have bought from the same guy & had a few issues with the correct map being loaded, but I think it's now been fixed. I didn't have any issues.

Apart from that seems to be ok.

There's also an Ireland based seller. They are more expensive, but the extra few $$$ may mean a hassle free experience.

and what is the difference between version c and the l.e.d

Both units are the same except one has a LCD screen and the other one is a LED which has a star button .
I bought a LCD one from Lithuania for $950 delivered and have had very small issues with it ,but if yours is a Golf V you will need a Aerial adapter .
Mines a version C 2760 firmware. LCD 2010 maps installed.

I have bought two of this other guy on ebay who is also from Lithuania and he's been pretty good.. responsive to emails and etc.. It's a H42 model mid 2010. C Model with LED. He has the proper maps as well.. so, if you are interested in getting one off him, let me know and i'll pm you his ebay details.

The first and the third link doesn't look like the LED version. There should be a star on the upper right hand side for the LED version. See the second link that you posted.

The second one is the LED version which has the star button on the upper right. That one has 90 days warranty and has all that you need. The ebay seller that I PMed you had offered 6 months, plus it was cheaper than that

I used a guy from the UK. Version c LCD bit more expensive than competitors but it comes with everything you need and 12months warranty.
It's been great so far. Only little problems is I haven't been able to code in the steering controls yet or the mfd turn by turn display.

I bought Version C with the LCD. All my trials & tribulations here

My steering controls worked straight away as did the integration with the MFD. I've just returned from a 10 day trip and there were no battery drain issues either. Car started perfectly.
