  • Video in for RNS510

These guys have a bunch of gadgets for the RNS510

    Anyone bought from them?

KUFATEC GmbH & Co. KG - IMA Multimedia Adapter - "Basic" 35537
This one looks like it will allow video in through the media option - as long as you don't have a reverse camera already fitted.

    Thoughts?

Looking at that, if you have an RVC fitted, you can still use that thing, you just need another thing as well which costs 140 euro or something.

When all is said and done, you'd have to be pretty keen to spend the best part of $300 plus fitting to have A/V in to your head unit, when you could buy a portable DVD player from Aldi for what, $50? Screen size would be about the same, audio, well, use decent headphones... all this is of course based on the "legal" course of action assuming that you're fitting it for your passengers' benefit, not your own as the driver
