No silver bullet unfortunately, all trial and error!

Just try a different GPS antenna and perhaps upgrade or downgrade the FW to see if it makes any difference.

But what sort of margin of error are we're talking about?

If it's like 5 to 10 metres, I'd say forget it and learn to live with it!

It's a little off...I'll have a look tomorrow and get back to you. Again it's most obvious when fully zoomed in. Doesn't bother me too much, just thought there maybe a fix, might investigate a new antenna. Are all GPS antennas the same or some better than others?

There's absolutely no guarantees that it'll fix it!

It's more about trying a different one or brand to the one supplied.

In the whole scheme of things, a new GPS antenna is relatively inexpensive.

I'd suggest shy away from those made in China (which probably is one you've been supplied).

Again, just purely to try something different!

I think price will be indicative of quality!

I purchased a new antenna off ebay (actually ended up being the exact same make as what i previously had even though the ebay advert showed a different picture) fitted it and it has made no difference at all. Nav is still a good 100 metres out.

Will wait until a new FW update for the unit comes out and hopefully that may fix it.

Currently mine is running 2760 anyone know if there is already a later one out?

My garmin unit also shows me being further behind than i actually am. I just put it down to the reaction time of the satellite communication.

I'm running the 2760 FW and my RNS 510 is spot on ,it could be the way the unit is coded to the car >??

How can you adjust the accuracy of the nav in VCDS?
