Hi all i have an 07 golf GTI and i wanna fit an auxillary in port as mine didnt come with one and i want to be able to plug in my phone to the auxillary port and play my music. So is this possible?

I don't recall that you can have an aux in with the RCD500. However, some cars have an aux in placed in the binnacle with a 3.5mm plug jack, so if you have a look at Mav's site, you might be able to find some pinouts that would allow you to have an audio signal streaming into the radio.
