Folks, where on the firewall do you run the power to your amps? Also where do you mount yr amps? I have vr6 seats on the lowest setting and am installing a 4 channel Alpine V12?

    Cheers

I know theres a small grommet on the passengers side which u can take off and run a wire to the battery. The rubber grommet is attached to a plastic tubing? thru to the dash but u can leave it hanging and plug the hole with something else.

I dont have an amp so cant comment on best place to mount but ive seen many installed into the boot.

I have 2 amps in mine, both are mounted under a faulse floor in the boot. Anouther good place for them is mounted to the backs of the rear seats.

Let us know how you go.

There aint no space under them seats!

Couldnt tell you about the power cable. Had it done "professionally" *cough*.

                  haha, damb im a lazy... . . .

The install, not that cosmetically pleasing but is all dead center of the car soze not lopsided . . .

I've pretty much ran the power cable along with the factory loomz . . .

as previously mentioned, theres a gromet up there, go through that . . .

Den there's another one tucked up in there that will grant you access into the cabin through your firewall . . .

Hope it helps! and good luck

I stuffed my 4 Gauge Power Cable cable down the side of the top strut tower next to the fender on the LHS of the car. I had to drill a hole in the rain shield for the cable and a grommet. Then ran the cable up the side of the pollen air filter box and I think another drilled hole and grommet. You will have to take the pollen filter box out to do the work. Then inside the car the cable pokes through the firewall at the far LHS behind the Airbag. I then run it down the kick panel between the chassis and the brackets for the dash. You then run it under the kick panel and into the lower door frame tunnel... this then exits under the rear seat and then you just feed it where ever to the rear where you mount your amps... I also did the same to the RHS of the car for my 3 pairs of RCA cables.

This paragraph is the holy grail of my concern. Thanks for the enlightenment.
