B6/3C Passat CANbus gateway location
Hi All,
Í've just taken delivery of my 2008 Passat wagon and are embarking on an RNS510 retrofit. After plugging in my MicroCAN this morning I've discovered the CAN gateway version is too old and I will need to upgrade.
I've ordered the gateway (ebay job), but was hoping someone could tell me where physically to find the unit in the car. I assume it is somewhere around the steering column but I havent been able to spot it.
(Apologies if this has been covered before ... I tried searching but the search tool doesn't like 3 letter words such as "CAN" and "bus" so I may have missed some)
