  • iphone input into stock stereo

Hi, i have a '05 t5 transporter with a stock eurovox stereo, i see on ebay a iphone cord that plugs into the back in the cd changer (stacker) port. however the plug looks different to the free port on the back of my stereo. so im guessing its for a different model.

my question is does anyone know how i can plug my iphone into the stock head unit. it has a cd stacker button and a free port in the back.

if not it looks like im buying a new head unit.

    Cheers

Even if u can get a unit to fit it will have minimal integration with the iphone for displaying tracks etc.

Best to dump the eurovox and buy a head unit that is designed for iphone/pod. wont cost a lot more than an adaptor $200 should get u something half decent at JB or the like. Spend a bit more and some of the units have hands free and bluetooth built in too.

Yeah im not too fussed about the interaction, just got better things at the moment to spend my money, so wanted somthing cheap to give me some decent tunes. might have to get a FM transmitter.
