  • Used RCD300 stereo - any market for them?

Just changing my head unit over in the '05 Golf GTI and was wondering if these things actually have any resale value?

I will be tossing out the amp too as will be by-passing. Again any value?

    Cheers

They're pretty common and not really worth reselling. I installed an RNS510 in my '08 GT TDI, I decided to keep the old unit just in case I was to sell the car in the future (not likely to happen though, I love it). It would be much easier to get a reasonable price for a used RNS510 over an RCD300.

yeah but this unit doesn't even play MP3's

But you're right, keeping it in the cupboard won't harm the resale

I have got a Pioneer AVIC-F900BT all set to install
