Wondering if anyone has had this aftermarket bluetooth installed in their VW? I have a new VW Golf GTD and have been recommended the ACAP module over the factory fitted. Just wondering if anyone has had it installed and if they have had any problems, do they like it and so on.

Cant say ive heard of that module when I was looking for aftermarket BT. I ended up going with the Fiscon Plus kit, works well. -
I have heard of the Fiscon Plus as well, seems like everyone rates it.

No, don't believe it's going to work well with VW's...but that's solely based on vendor literature...not on experience. I don't see VW listed anywhere in their product list:

Yeh the website is horrible! The installer that recommended ACAP is in Canberra , Canberra VW Center. I called them up and they rate it although when I asked about Bluetooth audio streaming he wasn't sure....
I have the RCD 510 if this helps anyone. It would be great if it integrated fully into the RCD510, into the stearing wheel, as well as bluetooth audio streaming.MY10 Golf GTD, DSG, MDI, Carbon Grey Metallic Paint.

I think it will be even more complicated to install it fully integrated with the RCD. If you want that, it's better to go with one that is proven.Originally posted by fiendish View Post

It was an interesting thing, the dealer recommended this place as an aftermarket bluetooth supplier. The supplier advises the ACAP bluetooth does integrate to the RCD510 and from what the dealer advised they are actively deploying this system into cars (about 5 per week)MY10 Golf GTD, DSG, MDI, Carbon Grey Metallic Paint.

Slightly off, I have an Audi A4 B8 2009/2010 model and was looking to fit the FISCON plus bluetooth, anyone here can recommend an installer for them? I'm in Sydney, my Audi dealer recommends the ACAP kit but I think the FISCON looks better? Or does someone here think the ACAP is better?
