RNS510 won't play DVDs

Hey guys...weird one here. Just tried putting in a DVD for the first time in my RNS510. Dark Knight. Bought it at JB Hifi. System says it's the wrong encoding and can't support it.

Plays on my DVD player at home.

Any ideas? Wrong firmware maybe?

Did you install this unit from OS.In that case you will need to change your region coding from probably europe to australia Region 5.You will need vagcom cable to do this If I remember correctly as I had to do it with mine.

Units delivered in cars in Australia also have/had the wrong regions.

The units are shipped with region 2 set (UK and parts of Europe etc) and we need Region 4. Region 5 is Russia etc.

The dealer can change this or you can get it done via Vagcom/VCDS.
