you need to run a custom filter on that center channel that plays only stuff that goes to bot left and right otherwise it'll mess with your left/right split in anything recorded in stereo (basically everything these days).

search about summed mono filters. it will help you in the long run i think.
Running bridged already does it. i get full stereo, and only signals through both channels will come out the center.
Its also filtered to only do the vocal ranges.

bridged isnt summed mono, its just a joint stereo/mono.

you cant run stereo with one speaker. and at this stage, i dont care enough. It works, thats all i care about.

Here are some pics of my work.

This is the center speaker. It is mounted way too low.

        Front left. Very nice speaker.

This is my anti air leak attempt. It is a bad of silicone run around the speaker area. Done on both sides. Works very well

i was gona say, the port looks way too small. also, you should have the port on the baffle (the plane that the sub is on). try firing the sub towards the back too.

              !
Well, im obviously not worried about economy, i drive a VR6.

as for getting chicks, Do you through yours in the boot?
and my girlfriend would kill me if i used the boot to pick up chicks.

And the box is not finnished. the post needs redesigning, and it needs carpeting.

I dont think you understand what i mean, joint stereo is mono. by joint its playing everything, were summed mono is only playing things that are recorded to both channels.

Its hard to explain..... If i use numbers it'll be easier.

if the left channel is playing the 1357 and the right is playing 23456

in joint stereo/mono your center chanel is playing 123456&7 but in summed mono its only playing 3&5.

                you get me?

It's very () easy to build a custom box, just do your reserch and you will be fine. I like alpines, stuff, but it's all too pricey for me.
