Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
I have just bought myself an RNS510 and looking to buy a vagcom cable.
I have searched high and low through various forums. Some say, you've got to code via vagcom to make it work, some say you don't and it works perfectly out of the box.
What I can decipher to date is that: it should work just plug and play, however, you will need vagcom to turn on a few software switches in navigation (37) and radio (56) so that the highline MFD will show the arrow. Is this correct? I've looked at Mav's site as well regarding the coding change for factory amp as well.
Does anybody know what codings need to be changed from an RCD500 to the RNS510 via the vagcom cable to make it work as it should including the MFD display as well as the steering wheel buttons?
