Are you looking for a clone of the RNS510? The MkV Golf forums have some threads on the Waywell WD6050HD and the Audiosources AS7608 which seem to be the best of the Chinese copies at the moment. The quality and integration of these units is patchy.

Obviously you can pick up a RNS510 off ebay for under $2k..

Otherwise are you looking at Alpine, Pioneer units etc?

Yeah I was looking at buying a alpine or kenwood of amazon which means it would be from america, but I have queries to weather the am/fm/sat nav and tv would work in Australia would you have any idea?

The AM and FM won't work unless you can alter them for Australian conditions. The reception will be so so because you have a diversity antenna system and there doesn't seem to be any adapters out there that can come close to the reception of the stock headunits. You will require adapters for the steering wheel controls and CAN bus integration, no MFD support (maybe a manufacturers name appear at best) plus a converter for the wiring. The TV won't work in Australia either.

          +1 to Maverick.

You would need to check that the US head units use the correct AM/FM frequencies to Australia. Then you need a ISO to FAKRA antenna adaptor (which only gets about 80% of the OEM head unit reception). If you go down this path Enfig (Volkswagen Radio Installation Products EnfigCarStereo.com iPod XM and Sirius Satellite Radio & Auxiliary AUX Audio input specialists) sells all the adaptors you need...
