Fuse Tap

Anyone know where you can get fuse taps locally? I am in Melb.


I am considering wiring in a aux cigarette adaptor behind my dash to power a GPS. A fuse tap would seem to be an OK way to hook it into the car and I have only seen them on ebay from the US.

Ah thanks. Just rang them and they have them for $6. Although the way they described it, it is a single integral fuse, where the fuse would protect both the tapped and the underlying circuit. If the fuse blew you would have to replace the device. Whereas the one in the pic turns one fuse slot into two, while providing protection for both circuits. Finally tracked them on ebay locally for $7 shipped.
