Auto quiet

Hi guys,

i searched and searched with no luck.

my 2006 R32 has an annoying habit with the stereo sound. the sound is quieter at low speeds and then gets louder at higher speeds.

very annoying when your thrashing out, slow down for a red light and the volumes goes on me..

is this something that can be adjusted through vag-com??

It can be changed in the options on the head unit... it's the standard speed sensitive volume adjusting that just about all new cars have. You can adjust how much it changes.

oh jeez i feel like such a dic... i thought i had read the manual but must have missed the page of the thing that has sh@t me for months. thanks man all fixed now.

Just set the speed dependant volume to 0 as per swallowtails post
