  • New Bluetooth kit

    Hi All

I have just ordered my new Passat and I would like to put in a bluetooth kit of some type.

I found a post on the forums somewhere that had a photo of the new premium kit (can't find it again now I want to link to it).

I think the kit may be the Bury CC9060 can anyone confirm and if so... Are they any good?

Not impressed that they are not utilising the screen on the RSN510....

    Hi Punchus,

Did you decide on which bluetooth to get yet?

I have just ordered the cc9060. Mixed reviews. I'm only getting it because the dealer is giving it to me over the basic unit at no extra cost. I'm already starting to get a bit nervous because some Apple iPhone users seem to be having trouble according to some reviews, and I'm not happy that I will have another screen to look at over and above the RNS510 (defeats the purpose of the latter a bit).

That's not the VW kit then, even if the dealer is selling it... no idea why you'd want an extra LCD screen in your car just for the phone if you have an RNS.

If you just ordered, ask them to put in the 9ZB kit, should be a $550 factory fit option and will be fully integrated into the head unit and car systems.

Will check it out with the dealer today.

The Bury kits are pretty ordinary. This is what you need (VW 9W7) :

VW Bluetooth 9W7 KIT RCD RNS MFD

The dealers in Aus don't have them yet, but they should be able to fit them for you.

I ordered one at 6pm on Friday and it turned up a 10am on Tuesday.. pretty good service!

He charges a fair whack for shipping, so glad to hear you get good service

True.. shipping was almost a deal breaker, but then I couldn't find the parts here (no dealers actually have stock), and couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else. I ordered expecting it to take a few weeks (I don't have my passat yet, should be here soon though) so I was pleasently surprised
