Another RNS510 issue - no mute button

Hi, I just had my RNS510 fitted by VW yesterday and all good so far except for 1 thing. The star/mute button is not working. The volume buttons are working fine but nothing from the mute button.

I spoke with VW and they are not sure of the problem but are going to have a look next service but were really puzzled as to why the volume would be working but not the mute.

The RNS510 was a C Version system I got from Europe if this makes any difference?

Any ideas?

I picked up my R36 with a factory fitted rns510 in October. It wasn't until I took the car in to address an AM radio reception problem (for the 3rd time) and got a loan car from them that I realised from the loan car that this was the mute button. (must have missed it in the manual)

I called and the fixed it. They said it was a coding ommission.
