Golf MK6 RNS510 - What version?

Hi all, just a quick question to those who've had their RNS510 fitted on their MK6 Golfs - what version hardware / software are you running? Curious to see what comes factory fitted etc. Thanks everyone

Just upgraded, so not factory fitted, to new RNS 510. Using version 2660 which I think is the latest...

Along the same lines.... Can someone tell me what is the difference between RNS510 version B and version C hardware? ie what are the changes in the newer version C hardware that would make me want to pay more for it over a B model?

Maverick would be more suited to answering that question, not that he answers to any of his PMs or anything.

In any case it seems all the recent AU MK6's are shipping with the 1T0 035 680 C edition.

I got a B version with 1200 firmware on my new TDI delivered 12 Jan 2010.
Annoyed because it won't read SDHC

AFAIK, and if I stand correct, by upgrading the firmware, the unit will read SDHC cards

I've spent a lot of time studying Maverick's my-gti.com website. According to this site, upgrading to firmware 1200 should allow SDHC cards to be read. My unit is already 1200 from the factory (printed on the sticker on the unit and reloaded a couple of weeks ago by Barloworld) but SDHC card are rejected.

There are also comments suggesting that B version units (like mine) should not be upgraded past firmware 1200. I don't know if this is true.

...Which begs the million dollar question. What if anything is the hardware difference between B and C versions.

and why is the hardware version written as a number (e.g. HW 11 on my unit)???
