Factory 6 stacker doesn't power on

Is this a common problem? Are there any (possible) quick fixes?
I can see a screen on the stacker (in the boot) which does not come on, and the eject button does nothing.
I've tried unplugging it and reconnecting it at the connection point in the boot, and I've tried turning the head unit on and off, to no avail.

Is the unit fused and have you checked the fuse?
