i've recently purchased a bunch of dynamat and i was wondering if anyone had any experience removing the floor carpet. i know the centre console is a little tricky, but apart from the seats are there any other tricky areas i should be aware of?

i should be more specific. it's a 5dr 2000 golf mkiv gti i need to remove the whole floor carpet which means the seats, trim along the lower doors and centre console need to be removed. my main concern is setting off an airbag on one of the front seats. is it straight forward or do i need some sort of device to make sure the air bags aren't deployed. -
