RCD510 into 06 R32

Hi all,

i have read the posts stating that there may be power drain issue when installing the RCD510 into 05/06 Mk5 golfs..

i am looking at getting the upgraded Can gateway to fix the issue, of which there are a couple on ebay.
would a S model from the US be fine to install.
