Fiscon in Perth?

Hi all,

I'm sorry if this has been asked before - a search of the forums didn't bring anything up.

I want to add Fiscon bluetooth to my Tig when it arrives, and was wondering if anyone here has had it installed in or around Perth WA? (and if so, where?)
I'm not too keen on pulling the dash apart myself, and even less excited about the possible VAGCOM problems

VW have said they won't install it (somewhat disappointing)

see my post in the tiguan section under reversing camera and also search for rocc's guide to replacing /installing RNS510 in mytiguan.com modifications section. Really is plug and play for the FISCON. I reckon I can now do this and reinstall the radio in 7mins its that easy.Given you are reluctant it could take you 40mins if you go slowly.Any caraudio shop will gladly install for you as well

My main concern was the possible re-code required for the electronics - VAGCOM? Is it safe to assume I can simply pull the radio out, plug the fiscon in, put it back together, and presto! everything works?

Never mind - just read that a VAGCOM update needs to be done - may I ask how?
