RNS510 CD to Hard Drive

Hey guys

I have looked in the manual and cant get clarity on this. If i put in a disk full of MP3 songs, it will copy it onto the internal hard drive. What happens if i put in a normal cd with 12ish songs? Does it convert to MP3 then save it or does it save it in its full form

I would be very surprised if it had any ripping software, but you never know.

A CD of music in CD format just plays. You can select a track and thats about all.
The only formats you can copy onto the hard drive are mp3 and wav (from memory).
