Hi All,
I am busy retrofitting an MIB2 discover media into my R36. I unlocked the GEM and updated the firmware from 240 to 254. The update all appeared to go succesfully but I can't get out of the update menu.
It appears that there is a deadspot on the touch screen in the top right where the back button is. I noticed it before the update but didn't think much of it. Not sure if this is relevent to my problem or not.
I have tried hard resets by holding down the power button but shortly after the restart a message flashes quickly on screen "Software update not ready. Please wait..." and then goes back to the screen which shows the application list where all is "OK". I can go into each application that shows successful update from version XXX - version YYY.
Have I bricked my disco media?
Cheers,
Dom
