upgrade on satnav

Hi guys,
I have version 12 for the sat nav on my mkv golf.
Im wanting to upgrade as there are a lot of roads missing for this, the dealership quoted me $420 for the new whereis cd.
Does any one know where i can buy this item cheaper?

You can try another dealer, but don't expect to see much difference. There are not many options.

Version 12 is very old, so understand why you want an upgrade, most incar units are now v15, and new portables are v16. Best of luck.

He has the MFD2, there are no version 12 maps for the RNS 510 and they use a different numbering starting at 1 with the current version being 2.

Search google for "Whereis Navigation Data for Audi & VW RNS-E Australia & NZ v14" and you should find it cheaper, I found some listed on ebay.
