  • Fiscon Pro/Basic Plus showing Boost, Speed info etc..

    One of the functions of this Bluetooth adapter is providing speed, boost info on the center display:

    Note: ONLY works with red MFD (thanks Swallowtail for reminder )

    apologies for the poor video quality:

    Note this only works with vehicles with the red MFD. Pretty cool though...

      Will the boost info show up on a Pirelli GTI with an FSI engine with this installed?

        Pretty sure it does.

        The specs on Kufatec's site says:

        # DIS Add on -Extended display of the following data's through the instrument cluster:
        # Only available for vehicles with red DIS

        * Boost pressure in bar (depends on vehicle)
        * Oil temeperature in°C/ F
        * Water temeperature in°C/ F
        * Remaining petrol capacity in l
        * Speed in km/h - m/h
        * Revolutions per minute

            I suspect it won't display 'boost' for any of the current MAF equipped VAG cars
            2015 White German SUV
            2013 White German hatch
            2011 Silver French hot hatch
            2008 TR Golf GT TDI DSG

              ahh.. that makes sense.. since boost is usually read through the MAP sensor...

                It will work with GTI's and you can buy the module separately that does this (no need to buy the bluetooth) however it won't work if you have the skoda bluetooth or any one that interfaces to the MFD.

                      THANKS!!!! are you driving a GTI as well? some of my mates are getting conflicting feedback (none from anyone we know.. just web postings, google searches) that boost wouldn't show on the Golf V GTI even thought it has the red DIS...

                      Has anyone tried? Thanks!! This is would be great news for us!
