Excuse me for my ignorance here, just another noob question - will Dynamat really improve the quietness of the cabin as depicted by Mr. Chip Foose on the Dynamat website? They seem to claim a 3dB to 9dB differnece !! That's huge !!

Does anyone have personal experience to vouch for such an improvement on isolating road noise and enhancing your audio system sound?

Yep but Louis is right I was very lucky found a guy selling them as he didn't need them at all, for a mk3 this is what 1 full bulkpack will do.

Please see the first post. They are coming from there. A mate has organised a deal with them to sell them cheap if we get numbers, this is of no benefit to me or the guy organising it all. If we get to 20 ( which is likely ) then it is only $200 for pick up in Sydney and not much more for postage for people up the east coast.

I bought an 2009 VRX Lancer which has a lot of road noise. Added a bulk pack and it was actually my mum that notice how much better it was. Now on freeway trips the mrs and I don't need to yell anymore.

So did you dynamat the floor as well as all the doors to get that effect, or did you just do the doors?

UPDATE 23/6/08:
Timeframe: Due to a few people asking about a more specific time frame:

We'll look at locking the group buy in mid-july. This means all EOI will close mid July.
Deposits to confirm your packs will be asked for in the 3rd week of July (say 10%). At the end of the 3rd week we will have definate numbers locked in.

PM's will be sent at this stage finalising the price. Payments will be drawn out over 1 week, giving people until the end of July to make payments.

Delivery will be 1st week of August.

If there are any issues with this, or any questions/comments please post in this thread of pm me.

Once all is confirmed I will PM everyone the Mobile number and details of the guy organising it all.
