Very clean mate. A question for you/anyone that might know the answer - would it be possible to cover the amps (probably using perspex)? I'm thinking of a similar floor setup for my amps but I carry stuff in my hatch and don't want to be scratching my amps and all that. There would be an issue with overheating but would it be bad?

It will be fine. Just make sure their is enough air flow down there. If their isn't, just add a 12V fan.
Bora has gone ;( Custom sub box and beige floor mats to suit for sale.
Very nice .... I see you built off the OEM pannel. I made the mistake of building a completely new pod from FG.
You sure live up to the superman logo !!!
How was your vinyling process ?? stretched vinyl with heat and glue ? I have yet to try it.
I used hi impact adheasive on the panels and the structure then slowly molded the vinyl with my fingers into the pod, I did use a heat gun when the stretch was excesive but mostly just fingers and thumbs
Don't know where I'm going but I do know where I've been

If its a modern quality amp then you should have no problem as the heat emission will minimal but the above is spot on, just wire it to trigger on when power is fed to the amp
