Desay RCD330 updating firmware ?

Hi All,

I am a little confused, I have recently installed a Desay SV 6RD035187B in my Jetta and was wanting to update the firmware. I've read online that you cannot update the firmware on the Desay SV version however some sources say that you can on the Desay Model B. mine does say B on it but it also say SV ?? so I dont know ?? anyone here have the same unit ?

i dont' have one but from what i've read only AV Cameras will work using an adapter.

Update... took the risk and it worked !!! successfully updated from version 0317 to 0318 on the Desay SV Model B.

i was surprised that after the update i didn't loose my radio preset or BT - Phone pairing.

is it worth the change from RCD 510 to RCD 330?
am thinking mainly for the apple carplay part

I've never had the RCD510, i upgraded from RCD310 to RCD330.... but so far its been great.... Apple CarPlay works great !

no issues with latest iOS, just make sure you use a good cable.
